Yuka Misaki, whose parents run a flower shop, casually begins dating college student Akio Asami, and later falls for him. But due to some type of accident, the two lose contact with one another. One year after the accident, the two suddenly meet again. She is still working at her father Shigeo's flower shop, and He is a teacher at a nearby high school. One day when Yuka comes to the school to collect money from Noriko, another teacher, Yuka and Akio meet, and get into a fight. Then all of a sudden, there is a small tremor, and after it subsides...

Based on the hit manga by Tomoko Ninomiya, this is a fun-filled quirky romantic story of two very opposite people .

Megumi Noda, or “Nodame” is a piano student at Momogaoka College of Music. An extremely talented pianist who wants to be a kindergarten teacher, she prefers playing by ear rather than reading the music score. She is messy and disorganized, takes baths several days apart and loves to eat.
Shinichi Chiaki is Momogaoka’s top student. Born into a musical family, he is talented in piano and violin and has secret ambitions to become a conductor. An arrogant multi-lingual perfectionist who once lived abroad in the music capitals of the world as a young boy, he feels mired in Japan because of a childhood phobia.
They meet by accident. Nodame quickly falls in love, but it takes much longer for Chiaki to even begin to appreciate Nodame’s unusual qualities. Their relationship causes them both to develop and grow.

Basado en el exitoso manga de Tomoko Ninomiya que trata de la historia extravagante, divertida y romántica de dos personas totalmente opuestas.Megumi Noda o "Nodame" es una estudiante de piano en Momogaoka Collage of Music. Una pianista con un talento extraordinario que quiere llegar a ser maestra de guardería, ella prefiere tocar dejándose llevar por su oído que leyendo partituras. Es desorganizada y desordenada, se baña de vez en cuando y le encanta comer.
Shinichi Chiaki es un estudiante modelo. Nacido en una familia de músicos, es un prodigio del piano y el violín y su ambición oculta es convertirse en maestro de orquesta. Es arrogante perfeccionista quien vivió una vez en la capital de la música cuando era pequeño, ahora se siente sumido en Japón a causa de una fobia infantil.
Ambos se conocen por accidente. Nodame se enamora de él al momento pero Chiaki tardará lo suyo en apreciar las inusuales cualidades de Nodame. Su relación es la causa de su crecimiento y desarrollo.

Hotaru works for a famous interior design company. It's a glamorous job but Hotaru's private life is totally the opposite of glamorous. She lives alone and when she isn't working she's mostly lazing about her rented house in training wear. She's not interested in men. In fact She isn't interested in anything.
"I'd rather laze around than fool around" is her motto.
Her landlord is a bar owner, and one day his son, who has just separated from his wife, comes to inspect the rental property, not knowing that someone is living there. He is shocked at the mess, but not as shocked as Hotaru. He turns out to be her boss, Takano.

Hotaru trabaja para una famosa compañía de diseño de interiores. Es un trabajo glamuroso, pero Hotaru en la vida privada es totalmente lo contrario de lo glamuroso. Ella vive sola y cuando no trabaja holgazanea en su casa alquilada. Ella no está interesada en los hombres. De hecho no está interesada en nada.

Four schoolboys find themselves the last virgins left at school. During the summer holidays, a girl they knew as children 11 years ago, moves back to the neighborhood. Despite their childhood attraction to her, they realize she is a mere shadow of the "princess" they all thought they knew. This story of summer - love, friendship, school, family, the hypocrisy of adults, complications of life, experience and failure is set in an everyday shopping district and shows the clumsiness of children who have developed a little later than their peers.

Cuatro estudiantes se dan cuenta de que son los últimos vírgenes de su instituto. Durante las vacaciones de verano, una chica a la que conocieron siendo ella una niña once años antes se traslada al vecindario. A pesar de la atracción que sentían hacia ella cuando eran sólo unos niños, se dan cuenta de que es una mera sombra de la "princesa" que conocieron. La historia de un verano -amor, amistad, instituto, familia, la hipocresía de los adultos, complicaciones de la vida, experiencias y fracasos están ubicados en un distrito comercial y muestra la torpeza de unos chavales que se han desarrollado un poco más tarde que sus compañeros.
